They may include steps to accommodate elevations, or gradually-inclined steps may be replaced with ramp walkways which makes them more accessible to wheelchairs and other rolling devices, as well as safe and convenient for young children or elderly adults that may have trouble with steps. Walkways can also be supplemented with landscaping features, such as lighting and flower beds. Both modular and linear designs are available and come in a variety of colours.

Steps are an essential transition used to connect various elevations, and can add to the curb appeal of your home. We offer decorative soils (ex. – dark look of peat moss), as well as those that retain moisture to benefit plants (ex. – triple mix). Mulch is a protective cover placed over the soil to hold moisture, suppress weed growth, lessen erosion, and provide nutrients, and can be a ‘cleaner’ choice than soil, with different colour options available.

Sod finishes off the look of your soft landscaping installation, whether used to repair small areas of your lawn that may have died or in cases where you need to establish a lawn quickly and avoid soil erosion. Different varieties are available to suit your use and preference of appearance.

Retaining walls can be constructed to resist the lateral pressure of soil, to change the grade of your property, or to retain aggregate, which is useful in creating raised patios. They can be built both in the front of your property and in the backyard from wood, concrete, or pre-cast concrete blocks. Different paving materials can acquire stains over time which may be difficult to remove. To preserve the pavers’ original appearance, it is important to clean and protect them right from the start. The products we use create a protective shield that leaves a distinctive sheen and feel. Also, by filling the capillaries of the material, we prevent dirt, grease and other contaminants from becoming encrusted, creating the most efficient stain-protection solution.

If your hardscape installation develops stains, it should be treated as soon as possible by wiping the excess oil from the surface and power-washing the affected area(s) with detergent and hot water. We can remove oil and other stains to preserve the beauty of your hardscape. We can also remove weeds to keep your installation looking like-new. If your bricks have shifted, sunk, or ‘bubbled’ we can re-level them. They may have shifted as a result of moisture in the ground, or improper installation. Over a long period of time, constant pressure and traffic on any given area may also  cause some shifting or sinking.

We guarantee our installation; however, if you require re-levels from a previous installation, we can efficiently remove the affected area to bring the bricks back to their appropriate level. In the case that paving stones cannot be repaired, they may easily be replaced with unnoticeable mending. Any colour variance will blend with the original pavers over time.
